Downtown Bartlett offers a compelling blend of charm and energy, making it an increasingly attractive destination for residents, visitors, and businesses. Located just 21 miles west of O’Hare and easily accessible via Metra, the community is experiencing a vibrant reinvigoration through developments like the Streets of Bartlett and new additions such as More Brewing, Aldi, and One Twenty Live. Bartlett is also continuing to expand its diverse mix of dining cuisines and experiences, including Mexican, Italian, Indian, Irish, and Venezuelan and top-tier sushi just steps from the Metra line. Throughout the year, downtown Bartlett serves as the heart of the community, hosting beloved events like the Fourth of July parade, National Night Out, and the Merry & Bright holiday festivities. These events draw thousands of attendees and provide safe, community-oriented experiences.

Economic Development

Downtown Bartlett is open for business and growing fast. The Economic Development Division works directly with companies looking to locate or expand in Bartlett, offering hands-on support with site selection, permitting, financial connections, and local market data. Also, Bartlett’s business visitation program keeps staff actively connected with existing neighbors, reflecting the community’s genuine commitment to the businesses who call Bartlett home. 

Downtown Bartlett has seen continuous momentum, with MORE Brewing, Aldi, and One Twenty Live recently breathing new life into the area alongside a wave of homegrown businesses. 

Three business parks (Brewster Creek, Bluff City Industrial, and Blue Heron) provide Bartlett a strong commercial backbone, anchored by tenants like Get Fresh Foods, Rana Meal Solutions, and Greco & Sons. 

Retailers will find a myriad of opportunities along the Route 59 corridor, with prime locations at Lake Street, West Bartlett Road, and Army Trail Road. With support from the Regional Transportation Authority, the village completed a Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Plan to help shape and guide the future physical and economic development of downtown Bartlett.
